Spring Break!

For Emily & Ellery's first spring break we planned a long weekend to Sunriver, Oregon with both sets of grandparents. We had a blast!! Emily & Andy had both been sick prior to our trip and I thought Em was on the mend, but the mountain air/elevation really did a number on her. She was very fussy for most of the trip. I felt so bad, I didn't know how to help her. You can see in the pictures below that she just doesn't look like her usual self. She did have some good moments during the daytime especially if she was eating the legs off her animal cookies. We rented a beautiful house that was very cozy, quiet, and in a great location. We took many walks and went to the park for the first time. The girls loved being outside!

On Sunday morning as we were getting ready to leave Emily seemed to be in better spirits. She and Elle slept most of the way home and have both been very happy since then. So Em must not have been a fan of Sunriver.

Thanks grandparents for coming with us on our first big family excursion. We had so much fun and we love you!
