I Heart Bree Hughes Photography!

Oh my, I just got the link to the girls' photo shoot from this weekend and I'm so excited about them. There are some amazing pictures, I just can't believe it. After our traumatic tutu meltdown in August I adjusted my expectations. As long as I could buy one picture, then the job was done. I am shocked, I actually have options to choose from!! The girls were a little fussy but Bree was able to really take some wonderful photos. Yea Bree Hughes! I highly recommend her. She and her husband came to our house and they are super nice and she is extremely talented. I can't say enough about her! Apparently even though E & E don't like pacifiers they've decided they like their friends pacifiers at daycare. They "help" find them all day long. I tried giving them pacifiers at home last weekend but they just chew on them and throw them around.

Apparently even though E & E don't like pacifiers they've decided they like their friends pacifiers at daycare. They "help" find them all day long. I tried giving them pacifiers at home last weekend but they just chew on them and throw them around.

Happy 1st Birthday Sweet Girls!

Monday February 16th was the girls first birthday. I am in utter shock at how fast this last year has gone by. We celebrated the girls amazing first year on Valentines day. I only took 3 pictures because I was busy being hostess, taking care of babies, ect... I wish I had more to post but I am continuing to realize that it is very hard to get good pictures of both babies. They did really well despite being around a lot more people than they are used to. They had cupcakes for their first birthday cakes and they were so not impressed. We tried to get them to eat them, but no such luck. I know it was because there was an audience. If the girls had tried the cupcakes and frosting the next day they would have loved every bit of it. I've actually not found anything that the girls don't like especially if it's something mom and dad are eating.

Ellery's new trick. She claps for "yea!" and puts her hands up for "ta-da". But only if she wants to and not always when we say it. :) In this clip I didn't say anything, I just saw her doing it over and over again.

Projects, Projects, Projects - do they ever end?

We've got a long is list of little/big projects to finish up on the house. The past few weeks we've been trying to get as much done as possible, but it's a little challenging when you have to watch two little ones. The biggest project that we can cross off the list is that we now have an asphalt driveway. Love it!
