Could This Be The Last RSV Shot?

On Friday the girls went in for their 6th RSV (Synagis) shot. Boy does this shot make them angry!! We're hoping that this is the last one for the year, but the Dr's are waiting for the Center for Disease Control to release the reports for April to determine whether a 7th shot is necessary. I would love for the shots to be over but at the same time I've just met the out of pocket deductible for pharmacy so this shot would be 100% paid for by my benefit coverage. We've paid over 7K out of pocket since November for Synagis - that doesn't make me too bad of a mom for hoping for just 1 more "free" shot...right?

The girls were weighed at the appointment and I'm excited to report that Emily was 17lbs 1 oz and Ellery was 19lbs 10oz. They are getting so big. Now, they were weighed with diapers on so that may make a little bit of a difference...but still I'm loving those weight gains! They've been eating table foods like maniacs the last few weeks. I don't even pack purees for them to take the school. They eat all big kid food now.

Ellery is starting to take her first steps. She's walked 1 full step maybe two all by herself. She's going to be walking before we know what hit us. Emily is perfecting her standing ability and in fact decided to stand on a basket this week. The basket was against the window so it was promptly moved to a new location.

We are exactly 2 weeks away from the March of Dimes March for Babies walk. The team is super excited for the walk...now we just need the weather to cooperate! We are only $2 away from our goal of $2500. I'm hoping that by tomorrow we will have met our goal! http://www.marchforbabies.org/teams/586132

We love the Nike daycare center and we love our teachers there! Here's a pic that teacher Amy took of the girls. They had just finished a walk around the Nike campus and fell asleep in the exact same position. :)
