Today when I walked into the NICU I immediately noticed something was different, but I couldn't put my finger on it. Upon further inspection I realized that Ellery didn't have her CPAP machine and tubes on. She has been doing so well that they took it off of her. So far she's had it off for the last 12 hours. It's likely that she may have to go back on, but it's still a huge milestone for her to be off of it for so long and possibly forever. Now we just have to hope baby sister Emily comes off soon too. She's a little behind in all the big milestones, but she's had a great week so far and I expect her to be off the CPAP in the near future.
Here's a few pics from earlier in the week of Emily & Ellery without their CPAP gear on. Multiple times a day they get to take the CPAP stuff off so they can get cleaned - this was before Ellery was able to ditch the entire get-up all together.

Congratulations Ellery!! Now you just have to encourage your sister to join you! We are rejoicing with you guys...that is a HUGE deal to be off Cpap for that long at such an early age! We will pray that Emily joins her very soon!! :) -Jessica
