Hair Cuts

Emily and Ellery's hair was getting a little unruly and tangled so we went in for hair cuts.  I can't believe how much older they seem just from the last time they had their hair cut.

* Look at the rash by Emily's mouth.  She and Ellery both have it and have had it for a few months.  We have been to see the derm. and he gave us a few options but basically said they don't know what causes it and not sure if there is a good treatment.  We tried two different creams and had no luck.  Then when we were at the dentist the assistant overheard me talking about it and suggested coconut oil which is a natural anti bacterial, smells good, and is harmless if they lick it (which they were always doing since it was so close to their mouths).  She said her daughter had a strange rash that wouldn't go away and after using coconut oil it did.  So I went home and ordered some.  Two weeks after we started using it there is no sign of that rash.  I'm thrilled and a little sad that it took months for me to find it but I'm not a big believer in that stuff.  It has many great uses from skin and hair conditioner, cooking oil, and even can be used to whiten teeth.
