Halloween

This month was all about Halloween and Disneyland.  The girls have been talking about Halloween on a daily basis since Halloween 2010.  I'm serious.  They talk about how they want to go to more houses than last year and about their costumes.  Over the year we've had many costume ideas....here's a few

Ellery - cupcake, wedding cake, cupcake girl (??), cookie, pink princess, red M&M with an E on it, bath tub with bubbles (???x2), and then she finally settled on being a tootsie roll.   I'm not sure how she came to that decision but when I went to find that tootsie roll costume I found that they only make it in infant size or in older child size.  Awesome...looks like Mommy has a project.

Emily - Cookie, blue princess, painter, cupcake, and finally an orange flower.  I know she had a few other ideas but i can't remember....  So again where do you buy an orange flower costume??  Mommy project #2.  Oh and all of this happens in between packing, moving and going to Disneyland.

It was almost an all nighter but the night before Halloween I started and finished their costumes.  They actually turned out pretty cute.  Luckily for Emily's flower we had a super orange flower girl dress that worked perfectly.  Ellery's would have fit better if I had actually worked on it while she was awake.  I had to improvise but I'm slightly impressed with my hand stitching, glue gunning, and meticulous tracing and cutting skills.

Trick or Treating with their girlfriend Avery

Look at all the candy!

After our trip to see the Duck home opener in Dallas I came back with these.  I was so hoping they'd wear them for Halloween....but no.  That was too easy.  So we wore them to a cowgirl 1st b-day party.

First field trip and bus ride to the Pumpkin patch

We're having fun...I promise

My little pumpkins!
