18 Month Stats

Hard to believe, but our little E & E are now 18 months. They both are walking/running at full speed and want to get into everything! Ellery does a lot of sign language and Emily is more verbal. She's always saying "ashes, ashes, ashes" or "read, read, read" Both girls are saying the usual "momma", "dadda", "ball", "book", but Emily had added what sounds like "baseball". Not sure where that came from. I'm hoping that they continue to expand their verbal skills because we are neck deep in the tantrum phase. It is definitely an interesting time. It is crazy how small something can be that will set off a major tantrum. Who knew!!!

They had their 18 months well baby check up this last week and Ellery now weighs in at 22.6lbs and Emily is at 19lbs 10oz. Just under that 20lb mark. She's still lagging in the weight gain so we need to do a little added fat to get her up over that milestone. Both girls are doing really great and we're getting closer and closer to their actual age rather than having to adjust back to the age they should have been (using a May 20th due date). They sure are busy little people!

Ellery & Emily - they really like the new camera. They always want to get a closer look.
