Never Thought This Day Would Come

Today is the day I've been afraid of since we found out we were having twins. I always thought it would happen when I was over the age of 30 and had more than one child. Well, the big 3-0 is just a few months away and surprise, we were blessed with twins right off the bat. I've had to set aside my feelings and preconceived notions and accept that functionality and practicality are WAY more important than style and appearance. Today I got a mini-van.

No offense to all of you who've already realized the convenience of mini-vans. And to those of you that encouraged my anti mini-van stance, try transporting two infant car seats and all the future baby equipment that comes with not one but two babies and an 80lb dog. Not to mention the poor husband who has to drive with his knees touching the steering wheel because he can't move his seat back without knocking the infant car seat off balance. Today I got a mini-van.

Just for fun, here's a cute pictures of the girls touching...because they can't keep their hands off each other.

I have the silver Oddessy! I am exactly like you, almost started to cry when we traded the suburban for the minivan! I absolutely LOVE it though!! I am a self-proclaimed "car snob", and I can say without a doubt that it was the best car decision we ever made! My favorite is the 2000 cup holders they have!! :) Hope you are all doing well!! Let us know when we can come and bring you guys dinner!!

Congrats on the new van! I've always avoided the thought of a mini-van, but even with one baby, a 50 lb. dog and all the baby paraphernalia I can see why people like them so much. You definitely need one with twins!Much love, Krista & gang

Welcome to the Soccer Mom Club! I never thought the day would come either, but I love my Winny! I named her after Winny Cooper on the Wonder Years...Mine is much older however, but it was free so I can't complain. You have the one I want! Yes, it's true, I dream of having a new mini-van, sad huh? I promise, you will fall in love with it.
