For the last couple days Emily has been so close to hitting the 3lb mark....but finally last night she officially made it. She is now 3lbs 0.8oz and Ellery is 3lbs 11.4 oz. Just a few weeks ago they were the tiniest babies I've ever seen and now they seem so big. Of course put them next to a 6-8 lb baby and they will seem tiny again.
Both girls have now taken an entire feeding by bottle the last two nights. This again is a huge accomplishment. The nurses didn't expect them to do so well so early. They definitely like having the bottle instead of the feeding tube.

What you wrote is AWESOME! It is great that the girls are putting on the pounds/or actually ounces! The fact that they are taking from the bottle is fantastic. What a great milestone! Would love to see an updated picture of the girls. We continue to think of you guys everyday. Keep up the great work girls!

As your technically challenged Aunt I am trying once again to post a message. The girlies are sensational and they are really beginning to grow more quickly. You are definitely going to be kept busy by the two of them! It is such a relief to check your blog and find out how well they are doing and seeing their improvement. You can really begin to see their personalities beginning to develop. I think one of my favorites was of Ellery kicking her way out of the saran wrap. I just cannot believe they are on bottles already. Way to go girlies! I am absolutely thrilled to follow this journey with you and am very grateful that all is really going so very well. You know how much I love all of you and I cannot wait to meet the babies when they come home.

As your technically challenged Aunt I have not been able to leave you a message after many attempts. So here I go again. The girlies are really precious and they do look so much bigger. I love that you have allowed all of us to take this journey with you. Just the fact that they have taken some bottle feedings is totally amazing to me. Now that they are both 3lbs I bet they really begin to pack on the numbers. All of us Nemers love our meals. I have such great respect for the job you are doing in keeping this blog going. It makes all of us feel as though we know the girlies already.
