Now that we officially have the permit to build we have a long list of checkpoints and inspections that we will have to go through over the next year. Today we passed our first set. Erosion control, footings, and foundation (for just the garage). Now that these inspections have passed we can officially start pouring concrete tomorrow.
To help make sure we passed the Erosion control inspection Andy and I had to spread 17 bales of hay over the muddy dirt and soil this weekend. It was actually kind of fun....but I think I'll stick to my desk job.
The highlight of my day was the new pair of boots...but I was a little sad that they got so muddy.
